How to access Novio Hand?
After registration you can test Novio Hand for seven days free of charge. You can get full access via a valid activation code. If you are interestd in a full access contact us via [email protected]. Intended Use
Novio Hand is a mobile standalone software for the treatment of patients with a medically treated hand injury or a degenerative disease affecting the hand. The treatment takes the form of movement exercises, which the patients regularly perform together with the app. The app increases the patients adherence to the therapy through daily reminders, educational content, a visualization of the personal therapy progress and gamification. Through the movement exercises and the increased adherence to therapy, the range of motion of the hand improves, the hand function increases and the pain decreases.

Contraindications
• Acute arthritis
• Adjustability of patient position: Do not perform therapy with Novio Hand if it is not possible to position the mobile device and the patient in a safe manner
• Arthrodesis of the finger joints (CMC I, MCP, PIP, DIP joints)
• Ataxia
• Upper extremity bleeding
• Novio Hand is not suitable for use on patients under 16 years of age
• Epilepsy
• Skin ulceration of the hand and/or distal forearm
• Advanced osteoporosis
• Unstable fractures
• Tetraspasticity
• Untreated or uncontrolled infections
• Inadequate compliance (e.g., patients with severe psychotic or severe neurotic disorders)
• Heavy optically deformed hands, missing fingers or parts of fingers, heavy discoloration of hands (e. g. as a result of internal bleeding or similar)
• Parkinson

Electronic IFU
Follow the instructions for use. The instructions for use are available electronically as .PDF. It can be accessed via the application website (https://www.lime-medical.de/novio-hand) or within the application. A conventional .PDF viewer is required to open the electronic instructions for use.
If a printed version of the instructions for use is desired, it can be requested by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. The processing can take up to seven days.

Safety and data protection standards
